Testimonials

Dear Karl,

The girls went to the vet again today and got kissed a lot by the vet. They've both gained a pound and weigh exactly the same. To say that they continue to delight and charm us in every possible way is an under-statement. Bodhi is the sweetest cat I've ever met. She's taught me never to perform "my cat test" again because it is bogus. She is the benchmark for all cat tests.
Sascha is full of curiosity and growing more and more beautiful. She looks like a very fattening pastry. I call her the "Pillsbury Doughcat" because her creamy color makes her look like baked goods dipped in caramel. Those china (South China?) blue eyes of hers are astonishing. They are so bonded and funny they even use the litter box at the same time on occasion.
Thank you again for giving these little fur beings such an extraordinary start of life. Tell Cira that they're being well loved.

Subject: the greatest kittens ever

Dear Karl and Sharon,

You must have loved these two girls into perfection because no one has ever encountered sweeter felines!
Bhodi (the brown-nosed one) lies flat on her back with her paws outstretched and lets everyone pet her tummy for hours on end. She's like a boneless chicken breast. Fearless and totally open to love.
Sasha (the explorer sister) is equally sociable and only does the most charming things kittens can do. Nothing destructive or alarming or wild.
We had six people for dinner last night and they were completely at ease and part of the festivities.
Is this typical of the Birman breed or typical of cats that come out of your home in South China Maine? In my whole life of loving cats and having cats I've never encountered cats like these. They even eat everything that I put in front of them and sleep late!
Thank you again for parenting them, rearing them, and allowing us to have them in our lives. They are a gift from Heaven.

"Miss Molly" Shown just a few days shy of 5 months old.

Molly has the sweetest disposition and is fearless and confident in every and all new situations. I have been doing extensive socialization with her. I have taken her to MA 2 times for a few days at a time. She enjoys the change of scenery and adapts to her new surroundings instantly. What a wonderful temperment. Also I have to mention I have bathed her twice and both times she actually enjoyed herself. She put up no fights and enjoyed rubbing up against the warm water.

As for the show scene... we have a show coming up in the next month or two. Molly will be in the kitten class for this show but once she is 8 months old the points will start counting towards her championship which she will attain very quickly. After she gets her champion title then it's on to Grand Champion...that could take a little bit longer. :)

To make the long story short I am very pleased with the beautiful female I purchased from you and am grateful to you for starting me and my cattery off on the right foot with such an amazing little female!

Thanks again Karl,

Hi Karl,

Chai charmed everyone at the vet's office and has been proclaimed very healthy.  The vet was impressed with your contract.  She thought it was very responsible and said she wished more dog breeders used good contracts like yours.

Hi Karl & Sharon....How old is the kitten that is leaving?  I remember how cute it was!  Things will seem quiet, I'm sure, after it leaves.  What a way to start a new marriage -- with a new kitten!  I hope that it's as wonderful and friendly as Hobbes!  This morning I woke up to big, blue eyes looking at me and a little paw patting me on the cheek.  How much better does it get?

Letter in part….

Hi, Karl,

The redhead is doing great! The reason I'm sitting at the computer this a.m. is to e-mail you. The redhead ( still haven't found the "perfect" name) went for his vet check, yesterday, and passed with flying colors. Dr. Slack said that "Red" is very healthy and is a very nice cat. …..

All of that said, we are crazy about him! He has been right at home from the minute he landed. What a personality! He loves everybody and everything …. The description that said Birmans want to do what their people do is right on. During the day, he's busily into whatever we're doing and wants to be on laps and shoulders whenever possible. At night, however, he snuggles between our shoulders and sleeps without so much as a peep. Needless to say, we are grateful that you let us have him.

Dr. Slack said to start Red on our homemade food right away, so I tried it last night. He loves it! We're introducing him, slowly, to our other cats. They are very unsure about the whole thing. I'm sure that time will take care of that.

Hi to Sharon!

Hi Karl and Sharon,

I'm sorry I have taken so long to respond to you. Bailey has been keeping me on my toes since I brought him home.
He is such a good kitten! He purrs all the time and loves to play and snuggle!
He has been doing very well with the dog! Every now and then he will growl, but I am sure that will slowly stop as they get to know eachother better. I have to tell you he is a little tuff guy! I was blow drying my hair and the whole time he rubbed up against my legs!
Every cat that I had before ran when I did that!

I will definitely send you pictures and give you updates on how he's doing!

Thank You for such a good kitten!

......They are the most beautiful kittens ever.  I love my cats, and think that they are just too cute, but your kittens truly are the cutest cats I have ever seen.
